Whitianga is located on the Eastern side of The Coromandel. 208kms from Auckland, 93km from Thames, 42 km from Tairua.

We are located in the town of Whitianga on the Coromandel Peninsula, on the North Island of New Zealand.

Whitianga is serviced by Great Barrier Airlines with two flights per day from Auckland or upon request. 

InterCity bus stops in front of lodge, twice daily. 

By car, Whitianga is only two and a half hours drive from Auckland.

The Mercury Bay area of The Coromandel is one of quite stunning beaches and bays.

Azure blue waters roll onto clean white sands, while protective arms of bush clad hills shelter the bays and further enhance the scenic splendor of the area.
